Drivers window was intermittent now stuck Down

I should have stopped using the the drivers window when it would only work intermittently. Sometimes i would start the car and it would go down and had no problems going up. Then occasionally I would start the car and it wouldn't work. Now it is stuck down.

I can hear the sound of a relay clicking when i operate the switch, I have tried lazy lock and all the other windows work.

I searched hi and low on the net and have found similar posts with similar diagnoses but have then the solution has not been posted.

RRRR Looks like door card off

Any suggestions appreciated. 2015 AB 5.0 Supercharged

Have you tried the global open/close by holding the lock/unlock buttons down on the remote?

If the relay is clicking and there's no movement of the glass, then either the quadrant has siezed (possibly burning out the motor and/or fuse) or the motor has had enough.

Some diagnostic machines (like IID) will allow you to open/close windows through the service menu... This allows you to diagnose weather its a switch or worse Thumbs Up

Thank you for the reply Gents

The issue turned out to be a connector on a non genuine regulator replaced some time ago.

Tested faulty with the ohms meter. Tries to repair the connector but the the break was in the the plastic case.
