Rear seating for 3 teenagers?

Hi, looking for advice and hope someone may have a bright idea....
Currently have a 5yr old D4 and looking to replace it with a current RR. One problem, we have 3 teenagers and use our D4 for trips back and forth across France.
Seating for 3 in the rear of a Discovery is perfect, but a RR has 2 upholstered seats and an 'occasional' centre seat. Worse for the 3rd person the backrest is convex with the armrest up. It just isn't suitable for 3 on a long journey.

So, anyone know if there are any companies out there who can modify the rear seats to make them more suitable for 3 people?

Thanks in advance!
Andrew

Surely with three teenagers the seat is not going to be your real problem - they'll find something to complain about regardless!!

Sorry, can't help with the original question! Bish.

I’m sure there is, however it won’t be cheap and will be hampered by the way the seats fold.

Just leave the eldest/wife/husband at the airport and pick him/her up at the other end..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

It wont be cheap I expect but as a % of the cost of a RR it is perhaps acceptable to find a specialist upholsterer...where to find...if one was renovating an old Ferrari that was worth £5million then they would find someone who could do it....Go onto forums of specialist/rare cars and ask for local (to you) reccomendations.....actually never mind local just ask for top notch people....buy Motor Sport magazine and see if there are any advertising. Hope it helps......I must admit I have never understood why Land Rover offered a rear 3 person seat for the RR.....the classic used to be fine then they have progressively shut them selves out of the family market.......but lets not start on that topic .

Try D:class - they are fantastic. They started specialising in Mercedes but do anything http://www.dclass.co.uk/
