toe bolt is completely seized

Had some uneven tyre wear so while i am away with work i got my dad to get the alignment checked.
The toe bolt was seized so the guy in the shop decided he didnt want to force it and I should have someone else look at it. Second place said the same thing and so when he asked for a rough idea on cost was quoted about 500€ which would include the swing arms.
Apparently its a big job, I have no idea but considering the folks on here have tried and succeeded at bigger jobs i thought id get your opinions.

From what i can tell i would need

    RGD500180 Trailing Arm RR
    RYP501160 TOE LINK BOLT M14 X 81MM
    KYF500080 TOE LINK WASHER
    RYP000061 BOLT M14 X 98MM LOWER ARM INNER
    RGIOOOO12 CAMBER WASHER TOE LINK

Should i do both sides at the same time?
Do i need to change the swing arms?
Mine seem fine and when i had my brakes serviced recently I was told all looks good. This was with my usual mechanic.

    Is this front or rear?
This is the one on the subframe at the rear, yes?
A bit of heat, easing oil and a decent breaker bar should crack it

Is the problem the same both sides?

Don't see why you need to change the wishbones, but you may need to change the upper and lower bushes on the hub (press tools required for this

Check prices with Dan at Duckworths for parts .

Just had both arms done on mine as rear tracking couldn’t be done as seized, my Indy had to cut both sides out with grinder and charged me £150 for labour and the arms kit both sides with new bolts special washers etc were £80

Scotty were yours seized on both sides?
mine is little bit older than yours so if its something that just happens il do both.
Did you swap the swing arms or the bushes?

spot on Joe, this is for the rear. The problem is only light wear on the outside of the rear wheel passenger side.
Im not sure if either of these guys checked both sides to be honest but in August 2017 I had new Scorpions fitted and everything seemed fine with the alignment then.

Would it just be prudent to have both sides then done at the same time?
Its typically the approach i use for everything else. Brakes, shocks, tyres etc

Are these the items i need? not the most expensive items.

Its a 2005 model so i doubt they have been changed before, everything seems tight enough but it would be better to know its done.

It might be worthwhile checking for play in your wheel bearing or other bushes before doing the re-alignment 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE

You will also have fun getting the hub swivel out at the other end of the toe bar .

Laughing I think I have had enough fun with this on a ramp!
Il price up the parts and get my mechanic to do this one. I am away until the 21st of December so it suits to have it all done before I get back.

My rear track control arm bolts were seized inside the arms at the inner pivot point. The only way to remove them was to chop them off either side of the subframe. The bolts basically weld themselves inside the arms. Power hacksaw or 1 mm cut off disc on a grinder.

Warm up and attempt to undo the NUT only on the adjustable (offset washer) bolts !

Hold the bolt head still with a spanner etc but do not try to turn bolt only hold it steady

Once nut is really loose then attempt to free off the bolt 2009 - L322 5.0 S/C Autobiography
