Common problems on 4.4 tdv8’s.

Mike. G reg 2.5VM Vogue Portofino red 1991- 1999
V reg 2.5td P38 Rioja red 1999- 2006
53 reg td6 Vogue Oslo blue 2006- 2015
11 reg 4.4 TdV8 Vogue SE. Baltic blue 2015- date.

DrRob, tell us a bit more about your driving style/habits. she is supremely reliable vehicle, but it does like to be driven hard on occasion

Yes, more than not are under the £20 mark
A really good one low miles / good spec 18-19k
Higher miler / lower spec £15-£17k
Just my view, these would be negotiated prices.
Prices above £20k are more and more adventurous however a very special Autobiography fully optioned up and low miles could be £22k

Look also here on the forum, forum cars are usually spoilt.

Try putting the reg number of any car into cazana.co.uk

The car you posted has HD audio (epic) but not too many other nice options e.g. adaptive cruise, no 4-zone climate, no RSE, and no electric rear seats, not sure if it has surround camera. Does it have a tow bar?

Autobiographys have more leather but you can get a Vogue SE with as many or more additional options.

Above all, whatever the mileage you need good or exception service history. I'd personally have a preference for less previous owners than 3

And you need to understand the Turbo Drain Mod which if not done is around a grand to get done. Hard to spot, but possible with a torch and an eagle eye.

Watch out for rusty tailgate and rear arches. You have to open the rear doors and ideally pull back the rubber strip in the seam. In the body not the door.
