I have 275/40/22 conti cross on at the moment and although they started life out great they only managed to cover 17k miles
So are there any recommendations? Good noise, miles, wet weather and mpg  2010 defender utility

hi, im running pirelli scorpion tyres on my tdv6 3.0, good allround tyre, got 36500 miles on them and they are 50pct worn !
will replace with the same when the time comes.

They’ve worked very well for me too. I can’t claim the same level of longevity for them on my own SDV8, but with 23,000 on the clock they still have 4.5 - 5.0mm left, so mid 30,000’s is possible. That’s better than I’ve got out of any Land Rover before, even ones with less weight and half the power.

I've got 22" conti silents and tbh I've done 40k on mine and they are still ok, but I reckon 2-3 months and I'll need to change them but I'm utterly surprised I got that much as I drive it like I stole it sometimes!! lol all smug in my new plug!

I've also had very good wear from Conti's - not sure exactly as I run summer & winter tyres - but swapped at 54k with 3mm left - and my winters are <50% used so I'd say I probably got in the 40k range too.

17k seems very low - I'm also quite an enthusiastic driver, but ultimately, most of my miles are motorway

I just bought Conti's again
