So a while ago I started getting the 'check front fog lights' message. Not surprising because both were jiggered. Just changed both of them today and neither light up and still get the message when I switch the engine off. Strangely didn't get it when I started the car!

Any ideas? According to the handbook there is just one 5A fuse for 'lights' - that's all it says. Surely different lighting circuits are on different fuses??

S-Max 2007-2013 (only diesel I've had, good car but expensive when diesely bits go wrong, so what's the point?)

Yes, headlights on. I don't have auto headlights (as far as I'm aware!). It's strange that I didn't get the 'check...' message when I turned the ignition on because I used to before changing the light units...

I've found a thread that explains how the lights all work via the module and it does look like there is only the one 5A fuse (number four I think) for all the lights so...

I'll have to get poking about with the multimeter it seems...
