Has anyone recovered their parcel shelf successfully? Mine is crappy cloth in a light colour which doesn't fit at all with the full leather Autobiography spec. I've had a few quotes from upholsterers but they are cost prohibitive.

If so, how did you do it and what material did you use?

Yes, the H&H ones are leather. One of the quotes I had was from the company that did them.

Best quote so far was £580+VAT for a single colour Nappa leather. __

I am sure some cream or black leatherette vinyl should be fairly easy to wrap over it and should look fairly close to an OEM solution, but wipe clean. Tom

The parcel shelf I have is not the original one to the car, but one the dealer slung in with the deal.

It’s tatty and horrible and not very Westminstery.

I’ve replaced the pins and now want to recover it. I’m thinking either charcoal headlining fabric (2mm foam-backed) or leather / PVC leatherette. I like the idea of the headlining fabric the most. Although if I go the leather / leatherette route my partner could put a nice french seam feature in it using the sewing machine.

Has anyone successfully recovered their parcel shelf?

New ones are ridiculous money, but so are used ones too. Recovering is the more economical route.
