i think i read that it costs about £100 to change vehicles, that's a bit steep but you have to pay i suppose.. ... - .- -.

I think a straight transfer (i.e. you own both cars) is £80. Otherwise you pay £105. |

Scarey I've just bought this from the DVLA and it was really easy all sorted in 3 days.

My answer was that that if you retain a plate for £105 there is no further payment when you put the plate on the car . So in Seepees case (the situation I was referring to in this thread) he will buy the car and put the plate on at no cost |
