FBH and alarm

anyone had this before, woke up this morning to -3 and decided to use the Fuel Burning heater to warm the car up. I aimed the remote at the car, pressed the "on" button and the alarm went off...switched that off and the heater did its job..
I have arrived at work and now the alarm keeps going off at random times, the heater is off, it s all parked up etc...
Initially I thought that the heater switching on had triggered the alarm which I can live with but now it is off and it keeps being triggered is unusual, as always any assistance greatly appreciated....Jeff

I used my FBH by remote for the first time today. It was working (I could see snow starting to melt) and then the alarm went off about 10 mins later. Unlocked the car and turned FBH off. Relocked and turned FBH on again and alarm went off within a minute - all a bit strange, but not sure how this might be linked to bonnet switch ?

It's a fairly new battery so I don't think it would be that, although I'm happy to be corrected. I thought the FBH would cut out if the battery voltage got too low.

Perhaps I just need to unlock it before using the FBH ?

Don't believe you do need to unlock it to use the FBH so shouldn't be that.

Check the battery and the bonnet switch for the alarm, both relatively easy to do and to cross off the list.

If you are using the remote control function, try pressing the "on" button for a few seconds longer than required, my alarm sounds when I do this but no idea where the connection is between the 2...but my alarm always plays up when the FBH has been activated irrelvant to wether it worked or not. Having it in Land Rovers numerous times I have now given up and just rely on luck if it works or not....I have tried everything but to no avail.... however when it does work it is a real benefit especially days like today..... I need more help than most...sorry !!

If alarm only goes off when the car is double locked....

You may need a software upgrade
The motion of air in cabin generated by the FBH is triggering the alarm
