The egr Delete is that, deletes the egr. If you want to remove the cooler/ thermostat assy you need the blank plate for the exhaust and also 2 caps for the water outlets ( I think these are 15mm) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/cheaper-sh...eLevelAB=0

A few in the UK don't bother with the fan so as you are up north you should try running without it once the cooler gubbins is removed. There has got to be a fuel saving and noise reduction with it gone. 2007 TDV8 VSE

ive just fitted my blanking kit for the EGR , cooler end of the pipe was already broken off he defo sounds quieter but that could be cos the cooler pipe is now sealed ? will run about a bit after work and see if there is a noticeable performance change , scoped out the cooler removal while I was there , looks easy enough especially after the pic you posted wayneg |

I blanked mine a couple of months ago, as I had fault messages.

yes paul , the full kit , I didn't need the EGR blank discs as I removed the cooler completely , I suggest anyone with a td6 remove this part , car is smoother ,quieter , seems a little more eager and the heating has also improved quite a lot ! this was my initial reason for removing the cooler but the side effects are very welcome |

pretty straight forward but I didn't mind working with the fan in situ Paul , long as you have / borrow a decent 1/4 drive socket set ? you will also need a T45 torx and some pipe clamps / pincer mole grips pal , the only other thing is the blanks for the cooler water pipes , I cut down a long bolt into 2 pieces , the type where the threads are only at the very end , needs to be 17mm diameter for a snug fit the jubilee clip into place |
