Hi Guys

I haven't seen a thread on all weather tyres this year yet and my FF all need replacing in the next month or so.

Currently running on 255/55/19 Scorpion Zero M+S which I'm guessing have an all-weather capability, but I don't think Zeros are made with the M+S symbol any longer.

So my choice seems to come down to refitting with Scorpion Zeros (assuming they give true all-weather capability) or Scorpion Verde All Season (wich @Red Merle seems to think highly of).

Any thoughts on which one is better on the FFRR or am I missing an obvious alternative?

PS. Not intending to use in snow, although if lucky enough to see any this year down here then i will obviously indulge to the max! David

I have been very happy with Vredestein Wintrac4 for several years now .
255 55 19.
They are very good in snow, but equally important, they are excellent in very wet conditions.

Zeros are better in fields/mud than Verdes, if that’s a concern (also remember there are no prescribed requirements for a manufacturer to stick “M+S” on a tyre - suspect it’s sometimes there because it’s asked for, like the L405 Eagle F1s).

Thanks BB, don't think my use justifies a full winter tyre at the moment, so I think I'll stick with the Pirellis.

Any field work is limited to the summer months, so leaning towards the Verdes. David

Hi I made the jump to Scorpion Zero last month. Pretty sure they came with the M+S Symbol but i have no photos to check...
They look like they could handle a field no problem!
They were pretty cheap through KwikFit at the time i bought them.

After the discussion above, took the decision to refit the Scorpion Zeros. I've had them on a month now and can't fault them.

With the white stuff missing us down here, they have only been mud tested so far but have held up well. As is traditional with new tyres though.....
