Sweden 2013 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Orkney Grey
My moneypit !

Morning !
I recently bought my first FFRR. Previously I have had Defenders (still do), Discoverys 1, 2 and 3) and a P38 RR.
The local Toyota dealer happened to have this Range Rover TDV8 4.4 Autobiography in his lot. It looked sad amongst all the japanese "crap" so I decided to buy it.

The car is not complete. There are small things missing in the boot.
Could someone please take a couple of photos of what should be in the boot?
Tools, emergency kit etc

Thanks.
Here are the dealers photos.

There is no emergency kit or tools in the boot, you might get a warning triangle which is kept in the right hand boot cubby where the fuses are, Bt in terms of tools you get the locking key for the wheels a jack and a wheel wrench, both of which are kept in the spare wheel well behind the wheel. That's your lot!

So based on that your car probably isn't missing much. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I'd get rid of the locking nuts. They are a pain. Nice car. I'd love one like that with the 4.4 tdv8 and 8 speed. ______________________________

Took it for a short drive yesterday. So far so good - no issues yet.
Had it serviced recently - had ALL liquids and oils replaced. Call me paranoid, but now I know that all is fresh and with the correct levels.
Next job is to remove all the trim around the windscreen. There is a leak at the top right hand corner when washing it. Plan is to seal it upp with some industrial "goo"

Are you sure it's the windscreen leaking and not the sunroof water runoff pipes?
Pour some water in the sunroof and you should see the water ejected behind the two front wheels and under the drivers and front passengers seatbelt pillar...
they tend to get blocked a lot with leaf debris Big Cry

Will do.
The leak appeared on the floor app 5 inches from the seat.

+1 on checking the sunroof drain tubes.

If you open the sunroof you will see the openings for the drain tubes. You can gently feed a soft piece of wire down each tube. An old RJ45 network cable with the plug cut off works perfectly for this. Finish off by gently pouring a mixture of kitchen cleaner and hot water down each drain rube to flush out the remaining crud.

Car looks great by the way Smile

Yesterday I cleaned the sunroofdrains. (the front ones). Small piece of string from my weed trimmer, WD40 and some warm water. Worked a treat.
Afterwoods I washed the car just to convince myself it was ok. It was !! Thumbs Up Range Rover 5.0 SC AB 2013 L405 Orkney grey with Santorini black roof

Next project for the car is to replace the wheelnuts (bought new in solid alloy = no stainless/alloy corrosion) and refurbishing of brake calipers.

Which color is original for the brake calipers? Mine has no paint left what so ever. It is a 4.4 TDV8. Should they be black, silver or red?

I managed to find new caliper stickers on ebay so the caliper will have a white text saying Range Rover later on. Range Rover 5.0 SC AB 2013 L405 Orkney grey with Santorini black roof
