Air Bag Light!

My airbag light has just pinged up & stayed on Big Cry

I've just had the external door release cable replaced on the drivers door .... is there a possible link here or is it pure coincidence?

I assume getting it on a diagnostic/IID tool is the first option and see what comes up? Current - RRV Autobiography 4.4V8 2005

Modifications - 20" Westminster Alloys with Grabber AT's. BRC LPG Conversion.

Previous- RRC 3.9V8/91. RRC 4.2V8/94 LSE Softdash. RRC 2.5tdi/94. RRC 2.5tdi/91. RR p38 2.5DHSE/01, Disco2 2.5td5/03, Disco4 2.7tdv6/10 ..... all gone.

There's an airbag in the door so it's probably linked, might have disturbed something when the cable was fitted.

Take it back to whom ever fitted it and get them to take a look, might just be a loose connection.

loads of connections behind the door card, as suggested one might be loose or not connected.. ... - .- -.

The red airbag light also relates to seatbelt pretensioners. I had a loose wire under the driver seat. The IID tool picked it up. I just had to fiddle with the position of the wire and it was fixed. ______________________________

And also the battery disconnect (yellow connector). I need to wiggle mine occasionally as it seems to develop a high resistance every once in a while... Must remember to take it apart properly next time the battery is disconnected.
