Cheers .. I came across that page.. basically from a cold starting point it doesn't make a difference and it's never gonna be 40° in UK.

its not just the viscosities which have to be looked at but SAPS levels and lifespans of the oils too.

Higher viscosity will put additional pressure on your oil pump...
