Trim code from vin ?

Does anyone have the facility to tell a trim code from the vin number at all gents? From what I read some parts cd's etc can decipher the build from the vin. No trim code on the plate on my vehicle, unless I'm looking at the wrong plate. It has vin number and paint colour and code, but that's all.
Need to order some leather care treatment while my leather is still good, and want to get it right.
Thanks in advance Bow down

Thanks Alistair, checked the vin decoder and it came up trumps. Also seems my motor has tv, cd auto changer (haven't a clue where), colour satnav , memory everything, and a load of other things I didn't know (and will probably never use)
I know it's quiet, comfortable, easy to drive, cruises at the legal limit. Oh and classic fm sounds good in it. When you reach 64 that's all you ask, can't be doing with all the electonicy bits and don't really understand them Laughing

CD changer should be in the glove box

TV may no longer work unless a previous owner upgraded it to digital

Enjoy it and welcome to the forum Thumbs Up

Thanks. The tv and cd changer will never be used though even assuming they worked. had a beautiful Plymouth blue Classic Range Rover in 1993, bought it ex chauffeur driven mayoral motor just a few months old. We kept that a while but I never liked the P38 so didn't have another RR, just didn't look like a Range Rover, more like a large Volvo estate. Stayed with Disco and Defender after that until I spotted this one parked next to my Disco on holiday. Liked the colour (reminded me of the old Westminster grey that I always liked), liked the trim, liked the model. Found it was for sale so bought it Thumbs Up

So far so good, let's just hope it stays good Wink
