As Weegie says, but you can't see if with the bonnet up unfortunately. I'm sure if your car is a TD6 it will have one fitted.

now ive just been out and had a look but i cant see no sign of it. should i not see it exhaust hanging down somewhere. has anyone got a picture of its location

The Td6 has a FBH. It is well hidden behind the wheel arch cover. You would need to either remove the cover or get underneath to have a chance of seeing it.

im a bit thick when it comes to stuff like that to be honest. i did try to set the timer on the auxiliary heater thing on the screen a few weeks back but nothin happened. is this the one you are referring to Current. FFRR Vogue. TD6 Java black.

The FBH won't operate if your battery monitor reads below something like 11.5 volts. Try again after fully charging your battery 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE 1993 Discovery 1 3.5 V8i |

well today i checked that fuse 59 for the heater and it had blown so i replaced it and tried the auxiliary heater settings on my screen (this has never worked) but i set it and it cut in but then ran for about 20 seconds and stopped. i checked the fuse just incase and it was ok. so what am i missing. does it have to be a certain temperature for it to work using the auxiliary settings
