I used my FBH by remote for the first time today. It was working (I could see snow starting to melt) and then the alarm went off about 10 mins later. Unlocked the car and turned FBH off. Relocked and turned FBH on again and alarm went off within a minute - all a bit strange, but not sure how this might be linked to bonnet switch ? |

It's a fairly new battery so I don't think it would be that, although I'm happy to be corrected. I thought the FBH would cut out if the battery voltage got too low.

Don't believe you do need to unlock it to use the FBH so shouldn't be that.

If you are using the remote control function, try pressing the "on" button for a few seconds longer than required, my alarm sounds when I do this but no idea where the connection is between the 2...but my alarm always plays up when the FBH has been activated irrelvant to wether it worked or not. Having it in Land Rovers numerous times I have now given up and just rely on luck if it works or not....I have tried everything but to no avail.... however when it does work it is a real benefit especially days like today..... I need more help than most...sorry !! |
