looking for a factory tinted front passenger side door window glass, don't want film on just the 1 factory tinted

there has obviously been an issue with the one on my new purchase previous owner has put a standard window glass in and tried to tint to match they also forgot to leave out bubbles...

I could be wrong, but I don't think the factory ever tinted the front side windows.

I have had a few with factory tints and had to put film on the fronts - and you're not even supposed to do that

Is it possible that the one you are not replacing actually has a film on it? When done really well you cannot easily tell. Open the window and get a hair dryer on the very top edge and see if anything lifts. You will find it hard to ever get a full match while this is still on unless you use a light meter and have access to a full range of films / manufacturers. Yep. Fronts never were factory tinted, it is illegal to do so. There has to be a minimum light transmittance which is basically the glass plus a very very very slight colour. Not what you would call a tint!

If you have tints on the fronts I would get them off as its liable to get you stopped and fined. I have a factory tinted car and they tint the windows from the B pillar back, you can tell if the rest of the car has factory tints by looking at the rear screen and boot side windows. If the heating strips show up as pronounced orangy lines then the tints are aftermarket if they are less visible then it's factory. The factory ones have coloured glass not film so the heaters are concealed by the tint!
