Agree entirely.
Having been one of the great unwashed for 6 months in the last year, and after sending out in the region of 2000 CV's, I finally managed to get work again in February of this year for a couple of weeks, and am on my 4th contract since then, so lucky I guess.

However I did try to see what I could claim last year, but gave up when I was asked to prove that my main residence was in the UK, having been working abroad since 1998.......

Pity I havent got 8 kids! (Does 2 horses and 3 dogs count? They are all of ethnic minorities - the dogs - and an elderly pony and a retired racehorse)
