Leave the radio on for two hours on most cars and you will flatten the battery, if you have the radio on then a lot of other things are on as well... nothing unusual there...

The jump starting issue is because the battery was very flat, all the power that the leads can transfer goes into the battery and not to the starter, larger jump leads that take a higher current will help....

Sounds like the systems need a reset, look in the WIKI and do a correct battery disconnection, hopefully this will sort your problems.... Pete

Recommend new batt at least every 3 y as preventative maintenance to everyone - got to be one of the cheapest fixes!

I've fitted a new battery with 5 year warranty Thumbs Up the old one will have my 25 amp ctec treatment and to see what happens to it . As I run 4 transits , 1 Isuzu tipper , 2 dumpers and a 2.7 ton Volvo digger it's always handy to keep a couple of charged batteries Thumbs Up 07 VSE

battery warranty is useless I had an issue the other week and suspected battery so being as it's not even a year old I took it back to halfrauds and had a good chat with the guy saying about the voltage being low and few other things that weren't adding up ,he explained that although you have a lifetime warranty yuasa always have a list of excuses to put the blame on the customer one of which was "have you used to car everyday" it beggars belief how they try to blame the customer L322 2008 vogue

Well that's another good reason not to go to Halfrauds Wink

I've chanced an internet supplier, but I did check them out first Wink , they have a good feedback on the bay of fleas, but I brought direct from them and saved a tenner Mr. Green
