New Fuel Filter Leaking

Ok so just had a service. Gen fuel filter from Dan, noticed a leak after a week or so from the bottom fitting. They couldn't see anything wrong , put it back then ok for a couple of weeks then dripping again. Was getting a diagnostic at an indie today, asked them to have a look, they fitted another new one, just got home and noticed it's leaking too. I know this isn't rocket science so WTF is happening? 2nd mechanic did mention there are a couple of notches in the lower o ring that might have caused the issue? Not sure what to think, input appreciated as rather frustrated now...

So he put damaged "O" rings back on a fuel filter... Banging Head

Was he the cleaner then because I can't see a mechanic doing that.... Oh wait, yes I can....

Can I suggest new "O" rings will sort it out.... Thumbs Up Pete

I've got the old one off and in the boot, I'll see if I can see what he was on about tomorrow
