Can anyone who has fr/flaps fitted tell me if you or the dealer had to carve the inner wing in this fashion?

That looks so wrong. You should not need to cut the liner

Thats the way mine look and it was a LR dealership that fitted them ...........

if this is what they look like then neither i or a dealer will be fitting......

Surely doing that means the crud doesn't go on the outside of your bodywork, but instead can go up inside?

I fitted LR units without cutting but you do have to drill and remove Side intakes to fit correctly. All in the instructions.

I will be requesting new liners, as butchery wasn't required nor requested.

Booked into the dealer wed, new inner arch. And a few other gremlins, drivers heated seat base not getting hot, tyre valve broken and a yoky as a spare in place of the pirellis. App the sales manager only authorised a budget tyre. Yeah right, after the money I've just spent.

Time to find a proper dealer rather than cowboys pretending to be one?

In fairness the service manager was spot on this morning. Only owned it since friday. Second hand buys are not a perfect experience but the dealer will get the hang of it.
