Hi guys,

There are many threads on reversing cameras but I haven't found a definitive answer to my particular query.

I have put a new reverse camera on but it is in black and white with a black bar at the top. I have done the 753 hack and if I change the display from PAL to NTSC and the picture is how it should be.

My question is...can the setting be changed using the iidtool? I have had a look but can't see the option. Also, what are the options for normal, wide1 and wide2 in the test menu? Can these be selected with iidtool?

If the settings can't be changed is there a fault somewhere else causing the display problem?

pretty sure the 'receiving' part of the FF is locked to ntsc so you need a camera capable of supply that kind of feed.. ... - .- -.

Thanks Stan, it just seems odd it works in the test mode 🤔

Although it works in test mode it won't "lock" to it. I tried with a camera which was PAL/NTSC and it wouldn't work. Had to get an NTSC ONLY. John
