United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Buckingham Blue
MK3 no GPS power

I bought a 2004 Vogue a couple of days ago and noticed I couldn't find the option for the sat nav on my screen.

I had a quick look in the back and noticed there was no power to the GPS, there is a disc in there but I couldn't get it to power on. I removed the actual unit and there seems to be 2 plugs in the back left side of it, one is plugged in elsewhere and the other is just sat there. Should this be plugged in? or am I looking in the wrong place, any help appreciated!

Bit confused, profile says TD6 but you say you have a 2004 supercharged. The supercharged version came in in late 2005 and is a petrol engine.

However assuming you have a 2004 model (Non-touchscreen) then that plug isn't a satnav plug. From memory there are 2 largish wiring loom connections (one red and one blue) and a small push in antenna cable. Current Fleet:-
2018 Discovery 5 3.0 HSE
2021 Ford Ranger Wildtrack
2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt 5.0 V8
1993 Defender 90 200TDI Pickup

Sorry for the confusion, I do have a 3.0 TD6, it says supercharged on the back so I just made the assumption that it was. My bad!

It does have 2 large wires and an antenna cable, one of the large cables is plugged in to the back and into whatever else and the other one is plugged into the back and then the cable in the picture is the other end.

Ok I got you. When I get back to my car tonight I'll have a look. I suspect it goes into the silver box which should be in the lower right hand side of that compartment (if you were looking at it straight on). Understand on the supercharged - someone has stuck the badge on - hope you didn't pay supercharged money for it! Current Fleet:-

Very much appreciated thank you!

I think I paid about the right money for what it is! I'll upload a pic. I'm not keen on the silver side vents and the handles are a bit worn so I've ordered new Java gloss black side vents and Java gloss black handle covers, thought I'd go the whole hog and replace all the writing on it too so got the new gloss black "Range Rover" letters for the front and back, Vogue and the little Supercharged badge again in gloss black. Feel a bit silly now replacing the turbocharged but it was on there and I've paid for it so it's going on Very Happy
