Top Speed

Hi all,

Regarding the following:

FFRR 2007 Vogue 3.6 SE

I thought the top speed was 130MPH?

This morning on a private road my wifes hit 132 and still climbing and to be honest hit that with ease, in fact it does 0 to 60 in seconds.

Now, not driven another 3.6 to compare I'm now wondering if this things been mapped at all because it aint bloody slow that's for sure.

Also,

MPG on the display it reads 26.9 and that's around town and so far not done any long distance runs to see if the MPG goes up. Range Rover quotes.....

132 on GPS? From memory, the 3.6 limiter is at 200 km/h, 130-ish was achievable on the speedometer - it didn't seem to be as "hard" a limiter as on the L322 4.4TDV8, which just stops dead at 130.

The L322 digital speed is pretty accurate i,e the speed limiter bong but the speedo on the other hand is not and over reeds by quite a safety margin , 130 on the speedo would equate to 120 or just below in real life . Dependant on tyres of course . 2008 MY Supercharged

That's 155 mph - not quite had that out of mine - ran out of road - but she reads exactly 1 mph over at any speed when compared with a Road Angel or Snooper. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Not many private roads are long enough for 130 Whistle

Runway, test track or autobahn sound more legal Wink

Are you sure it came like that? 11.5MY - stops at 130 (and I've tried). Only the current Superchargeds on 22" wheels are supposed to have 155mph/250kmh limiters as far as I'm aware.

Also found that the speedometer is pretty accurate when compared with GPS.

Regarding MPG the display reads 26.9MPG and all the misses does is drive to work and back which is about 3 to 4 miles and up her mother everyday which is another 1 mile in total.

She does less that 4000 miles a year, does not boot it and drives like a vicar on a Sunday outing.

Me, I drive it like it wants a good beating with a John Cleese tree.

Plugged into out IID Pro (which i did on Friday to change the auto door locking to “open with engine off” like a Disco) i looked through the list & it tells you what is set from factory in CCF's... Definitely 250KPH on my 4.4 12my... Thumbs Up
