I think that bank 1 is Barclays and bank 2 is LLoyds Sorry I couldn't resist
Anyhow from what I can find this is how it's all numbered
FRONT (GRILL)

8 4
WINDSCREEN
The banks are numbered as follows; Bank 1 always has number 1 cylinder in it, so assuming that you have a RHD UK car bank 1 is the drivers side, if you have a NAF ( ) spec car (LHD) bank 1 is the passenger side Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
