Look at both sides OS - NS and see if they are identical? And compare the replaced one to a rear one on your car sir |

Better fitting the stretchy rubber CV boots, they are more plyable and last much longer |

I don't wish to cast dispersions on your garage but are you sure they did the work the first time, a faulty arm sounds a bit weird, it's an arm with a bush in it and maybe a balljoint at the other end, depending on which one it is...

It seems odd. I have spoken to the garage and they say that the boot doesn't have a clip to attache to the shaft side. As I am typing this it sees to make sense as obviously the shaft needs to rotate in order to drive the wheel.

The shaft and the CV joint and the boot all rotate at the same time. I think you need to find another garage if they think it shouldn't have a clip |
