question re 55 plate RR S/C service intervals :-

the dash tells me Oil Service is due but going by the service book its service last year was an Oil Service, so shouldnt it be due an Inspection 1 service this time around ???

thought the cycle was Oil, Inpection 1, Inspection 2, Oil and so on - or does this not apply if dash tells otherwise.

If you had an oil change last year, surely now another year has passed it's time for another? 

as far as I am aware oil change is carried out no matter what service you get, so not an issue.

I thought "Oil Service" was the standard message for any service ?
As you always change it anyway.

Only ever seen the 'oil service' message come up, no matter what mileage was.

Didnt think there was any different message.

Ok thanks chaps, looks like I need to get an Inspection 1.

wasn't sure whether there was a different message for each service or not, but looks like dash only says Oil Service as mentioned by Herdwick, no matter what service type is due.
