United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

Just an update on this. I changed the car (many reasons of reliability on the old one) and the new car had the same problem with a perished anti-glare coating on the screen.

Anyway, I was ready to do the baby wipe trick again but the car had to go in for the brake hose recall so I mentioned it to the service manager. Lo and behold, new touch screen under the Land Rover 2 year Approved Used warranty. Thumbs Up

Rolling with laughter Yeah, the thought had entered my head but A: I saw the old part when I collected the car, and B: None of my personal settings (radio stations, Nav home position etc were programmed.

Pretty sure they did replace it. Thumbs Up

I had fingerprint wear marks on mine. Tried microfibre cloth and glasses cleaning spray. Didn't work. Two minutes of light cleaning with a baby wipe and job done. Corners and edges needed a bit of help with a plastic tip inside the wipe.

Now there's a good idea to prevent my new screen going the same way. Ta Craig. Thumbs Up
