Hybrid TVs - 2012 Auto vs 62/2012 Westminster

Anybody give me any info or pointers as to when - if at all - the TVs went from analogue (clearly useless) to digital?

A 2012 Auto seems to have an old TV but did the Westminsters get the same or an updated digital version?

Many thanks

P

For the UK I think 2007 they went Hybrid - ie. capable of receiving both analogue and digital. (it might be different in overseas markets)

Later they went digital only?

You can switch off the analogue side of the Hybrid unit with an IID tool, makes it acquire the digital stations more quickly.

Thanks.
If I pick up the Auto then it sounds as though the TV will be identical to the roll off Westminters so that is now a moot point in choosing.

That's correct all 2012 cars will be the same with regards to TV.

The 2012 WM has digital TV with dual view screen, ie the passenger can watch TV while the driver sees satnav or whatever else, but not TV unless in 'Park' Only Range Rovers since 1988
