i had this, one was loose, have you rechecked them? maybe get someone to lean over and sort of hold the dash at various places to absorb the squeak. -have you had the speedo out? |

Yes, I had the same problem a while ago when I had the instrument panel out to fix the pixels.

Very lightly grease the screws. Funnily it also helps them grip. |

Make sure it's locked home properly, as you push it down and back you can get some of the clips over the top of where they should go and some under...

do i remember on mine, that some screws were longer than others, so some dont 'bite', or do they not enter the holes and just turn freely next to the correct hole, meaning, they are as good as 'not there' ie dangling, but not screwed? i think i did my speedo, and then the centre speaker wasnt working, then i had squeaks, then i found i had a bolt missing,, then i found it, then i took them all out and tried again.

The seven big ones on top of the dash are all the same length... Pete
