Why do some of these wheels have a secondry set of small holes between the wheelnut holes, and others just have indents,???? and can they be mixed on the FF?

They require different nuts.

Holes are earlier cars & have a narrower shank on the nuts (same thread)

So you could mix them as long as you use the right nuts with each wheel

Nut info here

Yep - old nuts will fit new wheels - but don't do it - even for the spare - they will shake themselves loose

As Stan says - get a proper set of nuts Thumbs Up
