So the hoses arrived and so far I've installed the 2 x front top hoses and clamps.
Not sure exactly where the other 4 hoses go but I'll try and find a schematic.
The quality seems fine as I'm assuming most silicon hoses come out of the same manufacturing plants.
The clamps are good quality also.

Hi Blade

just had another hose go, and looking to upgrade, are you still satisfied with the kit?

I also bought this hose kit (6 in total) they appear to be a good quality and had no proplems, although i've only fitted the top hoses for now. Thumbs Up

Just received this kit, has anyone worked out where the two shorter hoses go?

Does anyone know if silicon hoses are available to replace the four short hoses on the air intake, as per the pic.
I find the elbows also split often.

Ive fitted the LHF hose and the others im looking to fit this weekend. The hose fitted had to be cut down as it was 1cm from the cooling fan. The other longer 3 hoses look the right shape but will have to confirm once fitted.

I have only driven the car for one full tank but have averaged 20 MPG or 14.0 L per 100.
The car did a mixed amount of city/motorway driving and i wasnt heavy on the throttle.
I'm guessing it should have been around 10 or 11 l per 100.

Interested in your opinion on the hoses when they get here going to do the same with mine.(we could have saved on postage)

Also with your fuel consumption, I am getting 12.9 L/100, on average, taken over about a 6 month time span
so that includes off road low range towing the camper and trips into the city.

Looks a great kit for sure and silicone hoses beat std hands down, I've used them for years on my bikes.

Anybody found where the other 4 hoses go yet ? Many thanks

the other hoses with the kit will go on the other side of the intercooler.... i.e. the bottom end where the turbos connect. There is also 2 short hoses between the actual turbos and a rigid pipe at the bottom end of the engine, this is where the really short ones go Thumbs Up bit of a PITA to get to though and they don't often fail so ask yourself if its worth the hassle to swap them out... The top hoses are going well so far. No issues.
Yes the other 4 are sitting in my garage. I don't believe they are easy to change so I'm keeping them for if I ever need any work done where they can change them. Eg turbo work etc. touch wood that I don't need anything done to my turbos

Hi. Got my hoses and mechanic fitted 4 of them yesterday. The long ones , the shorter ones seem to be very difficult to fit and was wondering if anyone had changed them ? 2015 4.4 AB

Just called this mob, "we only get stock of these in dribs & drabs" , we currently have 15 back orders, any idea when you can get stock?, maybe the end of feb FFS. If they're that popular, why don't you stock more !
Any other recommendations for these anyone?
