So how can I alter the volume of satnav lady, traffic news and when she alerts to traffic on route? If I am playing music from my iPhone sometimes it has to be quite loud and she comes blasting in giving everyone a heart attack? At the moment I have muted the sat nav completely and turned off traffic news which is defeating the objective but she still blasts out when traffic has been detected?

you need to quickly adjust the volume with the steering wheel volume control as the young lady speaks..or there are default adjustments in the volume menu.. ... - .- -.

you'd have to read your manual for that one..i think mine [2009my] is when you hold the tone button for about 3 secs. ... - .- -.

The previous keeper had muted the nav on mine which i un-muted only to find a loud American lady who warns me about traffic every 10 seconds and counts me down to the junctions 200yds at a time  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

It's not the traffic Stan, it's that it sees slightly slow traffic on the Tmc and then tries to reroute you. On a 1 hour journey to ironbridge the other day it tried to re route me 9 times. Clicked no every time and didn't hit any traffic! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Have manual.

To adjust lady volume

Press and hold tone hard key
Select NAV to display bar graph
Use + and - soft keys to adjust nav volume

After 10 sec screen will revert to previous view.

Dynamic route guidance can be turned off with voice command:

Thanks, I'm going to try that as I have the same problem. No matter what I do she keeps going back to the loud setting so I've turned her off

I looked today and sat nav volume said 1. Other like phone and voice for phone were about 15. So not sure how to turn it down apart from one notch...... To 0!

Are you playing audio on you iProduct via the aux jack plug , or through the ACU unit ?
If it's through the aux the volume for music and nav are tethered together and because the aux is a very weak signal there is nothing you can do about loud instructions  2008 MY Supercharged
