Have you thought about using a trimmer to do the repair. He may be able to save your existing seat base and repair it for less than the cost of the new cover. There are plenty about tucked in little industrial sheds in most towns! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I partially removed the base cover while tracing a seat heating problem.

The existing one isn't that bad really, it's just I came across the base cover for £50 and was thinking it would be nice to have new leather. |

Unfortunately the place on ebay sold the 2 seat covers the very next day. |
