Mines ivory too but already rather grubby so I don't care.

Before I had the dog, I kept mine in the car, but put a black towel on the top so I could put stuff on top without marking the material.

Requires fixings - sits behind the rear headrests & directly on top of the parcel shelf - retractable & has mountings in the sides up by the roof. I had one on my L322 VSE & it was perfect for me - but they're not an option on the L405 so have had to go with a semi permanent metal mesh guard |

The kit comes with the brackets, if you look at the font ends of the plastic vent bits that the parcel shelf fits on you'll see some pop out panels where the cargo net brackets go into.

The clips are already there in the roof in 2 places in case you have the seats down for a large load.

Same as HM1978 - I use the upper shelf also for kitchen roll, boxes of crisps etc bought at Costco and for putting dry coats on. I suppose they could do with a retracting cover, but one that runs in grooves on either side of the car (much like those covers you see people retro-fit to pick ups) and so could be strong enough to support light loads on top of them still. but that can also be removed as normal when folding seats down. I must say, the hard shelf is definitely classier, I've had 4x4s with roller covers and they always look like an afterthought in my opinion and some also seem to sag down after a few years (as the recoil spring start to weaken due to use I assume).
