Sitting square

Looking at my car today, I feel that it is sitting down on the nearside by about 1-2 inches! Can you lift the rear suspension one spring at a time???

Thank you 2014 vogue se

You may have a broken height sensor, each wheel has one. So four on the car...or even just a malfunctioning one. You can check if there is any damage by inspecting them with a wheel off, one at a time. They have a thin arm coming from them and these can break of come off or the sensor could be corroded inside. -it thinks it's set right, but it looks wrong. Maybe do some searches on here for height sensors.

I'm not sure but is it not possible to reset them by turning the steering all the way right then all the way left lock to lock?

Don't try it until someone else confirms cuz this may be a way of telling the car to store the current heights etc.

Just a thought.

Posssible leak? does it drop over time or level at all on the move? 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

Suspension may need calibration if always a bit low on one side. Diagnostic tool, tape measure and some level ground.

If car goes wonky after having been left a while, on level ground, then it is either the sensors (car does some leveling even when shut down) or you have a leak in one of the bags. Find leak by taking car to off road height, then lift each wheelarch and listen for hissing, or do the soapy water test on the air bags.

Sometimes, no amount of fixing and fiddling will sort it (I have a lower LF than RF) and even with new airbag unable to get things level. That said, sometimes it appears to sort itself out! .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink
