Thieves - SCUM

Went for a 10 mile walk today in the beautiful sunshine, came back to find my drivers door glass smashed. Annoyed doesn't get close Sad Land Rover Addict

Happened to me not long ago - not the FFRR - my insurance treated it the same as a windscreen - so just the excess and didn't impact my no claims - still not great, but better than it could have been.

I was finding bits of glass for ages though.

It's a right %^&%$^ mess - glass everywhere. Can't get the window fixed until Tuesday!?! Essentially vehicle now un-driveable Sad

They stole a small camera and the dashcam (neither were on display). Looks like a 'chance it and see' job as they had the cubby box open (nothing in there) and missed the ipod in the top part of the cubby!?!

Very public place, so a bit shocked really Sad

Feel violated but luckily they DIDN'T take anything with my address on....

Window surround is damaged, think they tried using a sledgehammer Big Cry Land Rover Addict

I sympathise I have had windows smashed in the past and its a real PITA, one time a mate of mine actually caught a chap in his car casually flicking through the CDs in the glove box.

All casual like, he asked him what he was up to. Aparently was waiting for a friend...... Fortunately it was in the carpark of the pub he used to work at which was 2 mins walk from the cop shop.

So he dragged the little Censored out of the car by his hair and dragged him on his arse and dumped him in the cop shop. Personally I would have beat the living Censored out of him There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

As they have the Dash cam, the Censored wont need anything on with your address on it Wink

Just keep a good eye out for strange cars hanging around your place from now on for a while. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

Sorry about your woes. There are some immature b Censored s about.
However I love your pic's, red kite pic's 1 &2 if I'm not mistaken and a heron pic3.
Have spotted a couple of pairs of red kite in our area this last year or so, giving the buzzards a run for their money.

They didn't have the toughened on arrival, but after seeing the messy aftermath of them trying and managing to break it I went for the standard shatter solution, at least the little squares are easier to clean up than the glass dust and nasty shards! Test drive = just as quiet tbh!

One side effect - after 18 months of not being washed .... this happened!!!
