Went for a 10 mile walk today in the beautiful sunshine, came back to find my drivers door glass smashed. Annoyed doesn't get close Land Rover Addict

Happened to me not long ago - not the FFRR - my insurance treated it the same as a windscreen - so just the excess and didn't impact my no claims - still not great, but better than it could have been.

It's a right %^&%$^ mess - glass everywhere. Can't get the window fixed until Tuesday!?! Essentially vehicle now un-driveable

I sympathise I have had windows smashed in the past and its a real PITA, one time a mate of mine actually caught a chap in his car casually flicking through the CDs in the glove box.

Sorry to read this also As they have the Dash cam, the wont need anything on with your address on it Just keep a good eye out for strange cars hanging around your place from now on for a while. If it dont work.......burn it! If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF. If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser! If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !! |

They didn't have the toughened on arrival, but after seeing the messy aftermath of them trying and managing to break it I went for the standard shatter solution, at least the little squares are easier to clean up than the glass dust and nasty shards! Test drive = just as quiet tbh!
