Side steps - How to tell

Hi Gang

My car has side steps but the rears of both of the outer trim are broken (like it when I bought it). They are removable trim pieces that I could order from DD (Ducky Dan) but how do I tell if they are official LR ones. And even if not, would standard trims fit..?

Possibly a difficult question I guess but any help appreciated.

The trims clip on and are secured by screws/bolts underneath. Are aftermarket ones a copy of this or do they only come like that from LR..

Thanks Ash

They sound like genuine ones to me sir... Think most of the copied ones are moulded?
