Might be a long shot as you say ' ABS ' but are all connectors home and rubber boots where should be? ie not getting wet? (or could be the sensor it self)

Only ask as I had a ' check brake pad' issue when going through deep'ish puddles weeks ago, checked the fronts and found the rubber boot had come adrift from the box the connectors are in and got wet, its not happened since either after refitting. ( I was trying to change the lower ball joints at the time hence looking at the fronts. )

yes agree with changing battery as we all know FF's love them!

What codes did you receive?
Im sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon Thumbs Up If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

You haven't done anything that would put the steering wheel / column off centre by any chance?

A good chance it is moisture in this multiplug

They get condensation inside them if you don't get the FF nice and warm every day, with your diesel it will be worse than the petrol as the running temp is lower, remove it by pulling the bottom piece of plastic towards the engine and then lift it up, give it and the socket a good blast of contact cleaner, let it dry then fit and remove it several times to polish the contacts, hopefully that will sort it....

Of course it is an FF and yours maybe dong different stuff to mine!!!!! Pete

Sorry to sound Thick Embarassed but do you mean the plug on the ABS Sensors or ABS Unit under the Brake reservoir.

Click where it says "click image to enlarge" don't know why the picture didn't come up...

It's the big plug on the ABS unit that is bolted to the passenger (RHD) inner wing.... Pete

Sounds like steering angle sensor. Might try turning the wheel lock to lock, see if it goes away. If the sensor is bad, it'll come back, if not it just needed a good recalibration,

Also you'll probably need to turn the key on for 60 seconds to reset your brake light.
