Hi Gang - 2 Questions for you...

Does anyone know if it's just a case of adding a dvd unit in the rear (where the other units are) and plugging in to get dvd on the front screen..?


Does anyone know anything about the Rosen rear screens..? I just want to know if it's a simple case of RCA out (or similar) from the 2010 Dual Screen HU to the Rosen control unit AUX input to also add DVD to the rear screens.

If you want the factory spec dvd system with rear screens and controlled from the front screen make sure you buy a car with it fitted

It is possible to retrofit but you need all the parts and a loom not available to order from a dealer. I did it on my wife's D3 and basically the concept is the same. Here's my write-up as a guide.

Not sure if I explained that too well.

I have the dual view HU anyway. I also have the Rosen rear screens fitted. I believe they have a central control unit. My question was can I add a connector from the HU (AUX OUT..?) to the Rosen control until (AUX IN..?) to display the HU on the rear screens.

Then one step further - add a DVD changer in the boot to have DVD on the HU and rear screens? Ash
