South Africa 2009 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Stornoway Grey
Dash display - 2006 TDV8

Hi All,

Can anyone confirm that the 'last selected' display on the dash is supposed to stay selected on a car restart? I can't for the life of me remember if it does, but after having the battery changed it only seems to want to remember what I selected after a short stop, but next morning we are back to blank - until I reselect?

Thanks in advance Smile Land Rover Addict

Mine is like yours. It stays on what I set it to between short stops but reverts to blank after longer periods - possibly overnight but not checked it in detail.

Are you using 2 different keys?

I know that there was an issue with losing radio stations etc which was caused by swapping keys. Can be fixed with a dealer software update. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Used IID to clear all the errors, changed battery in keyfob. Will see what happens in the morning.

As an aside, not been here for a long while - have had a lot of fun changing every lamp over to LED (inside) and CREE (outside) and inside (bar the Bi-Xenons). Has anyone else had the pleasure of trying to change the glovebox lamp?! What a PITA!!!!

Difference between LED and CREE externally is shocking! Land Rover Addict

I think there is a Comfort or Convenience option for this in the CCF, has it always worked before? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
