2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Out shooting today

A lovely day shooting, and as usual just sublime using a Range Rover. Trouble is we got them stuck in a really sticky muddy patch. Mine was first, despite low range, off road height and front and rear diff locks and mud ruts programme, then my dad, as his Terrain Response is currently on the blink he had to be winched out.

I can't wait to try and find a garage with a jet wash so I can clean it all off! Not sure if the alloys will be scraped.

Had a bad start, been hit by a stone and the windscreen is now

. Unfortunately my insurance company Hastings don't use Autoglass or Auto Windscreens, but some nobody called Nationwide motor glass. I'm still waiting for a call back. Guess I'll be chasing them to get them to do their bloody job then!

I love the way the Deafner needed two peeps to push it whilst pulling you out

I think the guy driving it didn't know what to do. It slid all the way to the RR, then he didn't out his diff locks on, then he stalled it, then couldn't get reverse.

Not going to help you there, but I think Grass/Gravel/Snow is better than Mud & Ruts on that sort of ground.

"Deafener" is a tongue in cheek gag...used it for years over on D3.....course not many of 'us' can afford to run both Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Both RRs on Scorpions, but even the pickup that got stuck was on BFG ATs and the Deafener was on remould aggressive patterns. All got stuck just due to the slippery nature of it all. Discovery 4 HSE
