Have to say Rosco - your truck does look rather bling. Wifey and daughter would love that Thumbs Up

My worry about the Eventa is our local dealer(s) can't confirm it will carry our 3. I'd love to see one in the flesh and have a play with the dividers etc. Still, for that kind of money I reckon I can design and have built an alloy box to go on the trailer.

Sorry but I believe we may be hi-jacking the thread here Laughing

some of the big horsebox trucks are just huge, saw many when traveling to Ireland, looked sooo nice too Thumbs Up

I thought of using an old horsebox lorry or an AA/rac lorry to use for transporting my competition landrover about the country......man maths gave me nightmares and kept the Ivorwilliams instead and in honesty is far easier to store too! If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

The annoying bit about the truck is even during a busy season it sits there doing nowt most of the time but still costs a ruddy fortune in maintenance! When the Ifor isn't in use it costs sod all Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I like Ifor's Bow down

Agree with others - I use the Defender for "mucky" loads and "working" Thumbs Up

When I bought mine, I was thinking of a Defender as a working vehicle and another comfortable car.

Very glad I chose one that does both, although I will admit I wouldn't like to do so much work with a newer one!

Good thing with the FF is that it'll do what a Defender does but in comfort and luxury. I love Defenders but couldn't live with one as a daily driver.

I think if I was looking to consolidate the Defender and Fullfat into one vehicle, it would probably be a Discovery Thumbs Up

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Robert.

Ironhorse : Driving a FFRR and riding a Duc is the epitomy of automotive masochism IMHO. As we all know this is valid for Ducs and FFRRs.

My SC 'works' by getting me to and from work on a 75 mile / day commute 5 days a week. To be honest, I don't think there's a better car for the job.

She doesn't tow or lug anything dirtier than my 3 year-old when she sneezes, but I think she still works for a living.

For all the truly filthy jobs, I have a 110 and a Series 3. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.
