That is the DC100 concept which was first seen in 2011. The new design for the Defender has apparently been signed off at Landrover but no pictures as yet. Current Fleet:-

It's been a gaping hole in the Land Rover product line for at least 25 years. We all like the Defender but not many of us could live with one as a daily vehicle, and that's why millions of Toyota's, Nissan's etc have been sold all over the world - a lot of the time in territories that used to be the exclusive preserve of Land Rover. |

Whatever it looks like....the existing defender owners are sure to see their already value holding vehicles either hold further or even increase as the 'iconic' status grows Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

Not that I'm bothered, but it's interesting that folk say "it won't look like that" but don't say what it will look like.

That concept was the plan for a while and then they said they'd scrapped the idea, as previously posted, it seems the devotees out there had other ideas.

Hardly surprising really given it's a re-badged Skoda Yeti. Fekkin 'orrible. Even my Mrs who hated my Deafeners said that DC100 looked nastier than smallpox. |

Lets hope it doent have air suspension, looks like the ewok, sport and 405 FF with the squashed back end look and small rear windows, they will of truly spoilt what Defender is all about and I also bet they dont even put a nice big petrol engine in it..... If it dont work.......burn it!

I was at Guy Salmon last night mulling over a defender and am returning tonight to mull some more..... I quite like the look of this version to be honest. Regards

I think thats an Autocar interpretation of what the new Defender 'could' look like - according to the article. As said earlier, the design of the new Defender is an industry secret at the moment and there are no pictures of what it will look like yet. Current Fleet:-
