Hi I'm not being picky, BUT I've downloaded all the manuals, and I still can't find anything about draining and re-filling for the TD6, its all there for the V8.
Service Description & Operation covers the TD6, but Service Procedures has some very big gaps in it, ie. it jumps from section 10 to section 12 and then to section 17. When you click on the only heading for emptying and re-filling coolant it tries to take you to a web page at Ford, and strangely enough its a dead page. Funny that, seeing that Land Rover don't belong to Ford anymore, I can't think why it doesn't work

I have always used RAVE for repairs so didn't notice that the repair bit seemed to be missing the Repairs sections in the PDF download.

Joe fore give me, ISO ??????? Rave??????? I can call myself a mechanic and I do know how to tune an engine using fag papers, but a technician I ain't
All this computer thing-a-me talk is a wee bit beyond me, plus I can't see an ISO link in wiki, after all I am blind. I could take that further, but I fear that Derick and Clive are not very PC anymore, what!
I am old skool, if its 30 years old or more I can fix it with a Knock-o-meter and a bent screwdriver, oh and I might need some bailing twine too

I believe RAVE stands for Repair And Vehicle Examination, in this case anyway. Could be wrong.

It's what the Land Rover techs used to use. Essentially it's all the PDF docs linked together with a nice menu on it.

ISO is a file format for disk images that when burnt to a cd or dvd on a PC will result in a copy of the disk that the ISO was created from, similar to a zip file but for cd images.

You can download the rave ISO from the wiki but you will need a blank CD-R and some burning software to burn the cd image.

It only creates a folder with the files in which I put onto a memory stick and copy on to wherever I want the files.

You will need to unzip first to get at the iso, then burn to CDR.

You don't have to burn it, you could use a CD emulator which creates a virtual CD drive on your PC, best I know is Daemon Tools. Or as mjronfiled says copy contents of iso across to USB Stick and run from there.

This is the only UK version (with TD6 on it) that I know of.
