Ah but!!!!!!!

The main use of my car is towing (tri-axle ifor) with a minimum of 3.5te behind it Embarassed The one problem with deep sidewalls is the flex with decent weight behind in corners makes the stability shut the power off just when you need it most.

So, whilst I agree and was going to get the dealer to change the wheels until I realised the 22's would probably sell for more than a set of 20's on E Laughing bay - there is a possible advantage of having stupidly low profile tyres on an L322.

Ok - so I'm clutching at straws but it's a nice car!

See there's a new 19" option for the 15MY.

And your three axle trailer will be a much better, more stable trailer than mine.

^ That trailer is a MONSTER Shocked , but I bet it tows nicely ?
Not sure it would be legal in the UK. . .
FF looks excellent towing it !
Low profile tyres on FF = nonsense

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

It is a monster, but it's not a great trailer. The weight is too high and it's very limited for nose weight (100kg). The good thing is it's only 209cm wide.

Why would it not be legal in the UK, because it's less than 7m long (the bed is 5m long)?

^^^ Under seven metres ? - looks ok, then . . .
Seriously though - why that length ?
I get your point on the high centre of gravity - it makes checking your tyres pretty important -

Why get an inadaquate one? On several occassions I've used all of it, as you can see from the pics.

While I'm not the greatest reverser, I can reverse it, I just didn't want to reverse it past your cars, house, wife, kids, dog, cat and up your narrow and twisty back passage. Wink

Kurt - you're correct in that the tri-axle is very stable (and only 4.25m bed length) but that is part of the problem.

Towing the trailer behind my defender fully loaded in a timber yard I had a moment when the car turned but the trailer didn
't want to and simply pushed the back end of the car around. Luckily it was below 5mph but I did go some distance on full opposite lock before it stopped.

The 22s will most likely go but I do like the look of the Disco with them on!!!!
