Just thought I would have a go at uploading some pics

As you can see theres no way of not cutting the trim in some places although it's pained me to do it Big Cry
needs must be. When I have the spare wheel cover off I'll take some more photos of where I placed the brackets.

Do you have also photos with the Wheelchair in the boot .
my wife's is in a wheelchair now since 2 years , and until now i just loaded the chair by hand , but now that she has an electric one , and am not getting any younger it's starting to be harder and harder to lift the chair , with or without wheels .

And by the way do you have any help to get in the car yourself , or your passenger , or just lowering to access is enough ??

I do love my L322 nad i would not like too much to change for a van with a lift ... even if that may have to come , later ...
thank you for sharing your mods .

sorry for the delay jaybear. i will post some more pictures with lifting and power chair in boot, hopefully tomorrow.
I dont need help myself getting in and out but wife does. the reason we had the rr was for the comfort and the access mode of the rr. our last car was a disco td5 and i used a ramp for that, so i was intent on getting a hoist for this car. as wife suffers from severe pain related condition the comfort, access and fully adjustable seat of the rr made it for us a good choice.
think i may have saved between £1500-£1700 pounds by doing this myself although i am a plater/welder by trade.
just hope it helps someone else now or in the future. Thumbs Up

Greg, if you post a list of the bits & bobs you had to cut to fit the hoist, i will happily look (as we have broke one your int colour) and see if we have those bits left/lying around...

Don't need anything for them and am often up your way so could probably drop them off sir Thumbs Up

(only if you want to put the car back to standard at some point obviously) Thumbs Up

Cam-tech-craig . Thank you very much , my next persuit would be to source spare parts that I had to cut in case I need to put it back to standard.
Spare wheel cover, all three carpet covered side trim rhs and plastic tray that houses the spare wheel wrench.
I really appreciate this as it has really pained me to cut into my new car Big Cry but it had to be done as the car is our lifeline to going out
As you can see I have to take the removable parts off the wheel chair on top, this is for height reasonand have to pull it away from tailgate when lifting in the same out but, apart from that it works perfectly. The load cover doesn't sit neatly down because of top bracket, as I have privacy glass I'm not to worried. Please don't take any of this thinking its a professional fit, and I take no responsibility for anyone else who wants to attempt it. It's for us and our usage.

Greg.

thanks a lot for these photos as I will save them to show them to prospective fitting company .

Wy fife still uses a whheel chair with big wheels , with the engine in the wheels ;
So its not the same setup , but she may get this type of small wheels system in the future .

How do you help her get in the seat .
Access mode only , and then she can raise herself ?
Or someone has to lift her there( Like I have to do , which is getting harder and harder every year )
I was thinking of having those telescopic chairs .... but it will just ruin the FF ...

or at the end of the day I may have to go the Viano road ... with a lift at the side door ...
But then Bye bye the full fat ...

Time will tell .

Thanks a lot again .

if for some reasons you prefer to use my PM box , do so

Cheers Very Happy Very Happy Jaybear
