Two systems, no sound!

My first post, so please be patient! I have a 2009 Vogue TDV8. It came with a Parrot MKi901 system, dual mics etc. My car also has the built-in bluetooth phone system, but no cradle. My telephone, BB Bold, connects via bluetooth to both systems, and both will dial out. There is no sound from either, no voice from the Parrot, no sound when the phone is answered or when a call is received. The car's built in voice commands, radio, satnav, cd etc. all work perfectly. Next to the Parrot display is a small button, and when this is pressed, the touch screen blinks, but nothing else (see photo please). I want one or the other to work, so any advice please? Rip out the parrot? is something not connected or interfering? No clues at all. Please help. Thank you all very much.

time to go

It would appear that none of our experts on here have any clue as to the cause of my problem, so next course is to rip out anything to do with these rubbish parrot systems and try and go back to the inbuilt system. I don't like bits of plastic and wire poking out on my car unless it was intended to be there, so if anyone wants a complete parrott mki901 system, look in my dustbin in the next day or so! Crying or Very sad

you could try a search to see if this has come up before..

stating the obvious , you do have the volume turned up for that particular function [ie increase volume while dialling out[ ... - .- -.

Stupid question, but why the need for the parrot in the first place? Does it allow bluetooth music transfer??? '08 Audi S6 Avant 5.2 V10 with Milltek non-resonated. Vrrrrrrmmmmmph

The chances are the original system is defunct which is why the Parrot system is fitted.
I would concentrate your efforts on the Parrot system. Thumbs Up

thank you for all the above. Good question, why the need for the Parrott. Can only guess there is somehting wrong with the original equipment. Strange thing is, both systems work perfectly as they should, but no sound from either, so it could really be just a stupid thing like the volume is off or muted, but I cannot find anwhere to check and or adjust.

thank you for you assistance everyone, things like this drive me mad, when the answer is probably something simple Mad

To check the volume, simply make a phone call on the system then whilst dialling or connected press the + button on the audio controls on the right hand side of the steering wheel.
